  • Champagne Joseph Perrier Cuvee Josephine 2004

    To Joseph Perrier, who founded the Champagne maison in the 19th Century, his daughter Josephine was a beauty resembling a goddess. He endeavored to produce a cuvee befitting her, however, his untimely death prevented him from witnessing the first cuvee. As a token of this poignant, time-honored story, his successor launched its first vintage in 1982. Since then, the cuvee has been produced only in perfect vintages. This Champagne has a sumptuous style spun from pure fruitiness and gallantly impressive characteristics. Its palate weaves a brand new world.

  • [Bourgogne] Domaine du Pavillon: Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2007

    The Beaune negociant Albert Bichot acquired Domaine du Pavillon in 1993, adding new Grand cru wines to their repertoire. Chardonnay grapes harvested on the slopes of Corton Charlemagne were perfectly tamed through fermentation in new barrels and express tense acidity with clarity. The well-balanced flavor opens up an entire new world of expansive sensations on your palate. Enjoy a sumptuous moment with this topnotch Grand cru.

  • [California] Drycreek Fume Blanc 2009

    This Sonoma Valley winery was founded in 1972 by David Stare who hailed from the East Coast. Inspired by his trips to the Loire Valley, where he was impressed with the beauty of the chateaus and the succulence of the wines, he decided to start this winery. He concentrated in Sauvignon Blanc, at the time a virtually ignored varietal in California and introduced fresh wines full of aroma. This Fumé Blanc is a wine filled with his enthusiasm toward the Loire Valley, its origin. Please enjoy its marriage with the cuisine of your choice.

  • [Katsunuma Japan] Chuo Budoshu Cuvee Misawa Koshu Private Reserve 2009

    Chuo Budoshu winery was founded in the village of Katsunuma, Yamanashi in 1923. Shigekazu Misawa, the 4th generation owner, takes on intrepid challenges one after another in every stage of wine production, from grape cultivation to vintage, striving to perfectly enhance the inherent riches of the terroir. Misawa has a special passion for the Koshu grape and while continuing to grow grapes in the traditional Japanese way on a high pergola, he has also started experimenting with cultivation using European-style trellises. The Private Reserve is a wine created from specially selected grapes grown in the clos where the fruitiness in most concentrated, and is well-aged. The harmony when the plumpness of the flesh of Koshu grapes meets the serene acidity, gives this a nostalgic taste.

  • [Germany] August Kesseler Riesling R 2009

    This winery was founded in 1924 in Assmannshausen, known in Germany for its red wine. August is the 3rd generation of winemakers and attracted great attention early on in his country as a producer of Spatburgunder (pinot noir). Soon, however, he was invited to this traditional winery in the Rheingau and distinguished himself in white wine production as well. The Riesling, as a wine that boasts its unique backbone of the Rheingau, has a dignity and shiny strength.

  • [Bordeaux] Château Léoville Poyferré 2007

    This chateau owns an 80-hectare vineyard in the most celebrated part of the village of Saint-Julien, in Medoc, Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon accounts for quite a high 65 percent of the vineyard and the wines are known for being full-bodied. After the owner Didier Cuvelier invited Michel Rolland’s input, its style with complexity has attracted winelovers’attention.

  • [Bourgogne] Bouchard Père & Fils Chambolle-Musigny 2009

    Since 1995, when Joseph Henriot assumed the ownership of this negotiant founded in 1731 at Beaune, the quality and style of their wine have reportedly improved drastically. In the 130-ha vineyard, meticulous maintenance and vinification by clos have resulted in precise expression of the particular character of each clos. This is the wine of the village of Chambolle-Musigny, known to be the area where the most delicate wine is produced in the Côte de Nuits region-elegantly finished with a harmonious combination of fresh fruitiness and mild tannin.

  • [Italy] Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino 2003

    The Vigna Spuntali, one of the three Tuscan properties that the Angelini family acquired in 1994 to produce Brunello di Montalcino, lies in Val di Suga. The sloping vineyard facing south-west is most suited for the Brunello clone, or Sangiovese Grosso (meaning large). This amply flavored mature wine of deep ruby color with complex bouquet such as dark chocolate and balsam offers a refreshingly fruity and spicy finish.

  • [Argentina] Trapiche Iscay Merlot・Malbec 2007

    Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes in Argentina, is a wine-producing region famous all over the world for superior wines. Trapiche's "Iscay" means "two" in the ancient language of the Incas. This wine was conceived as an expression of the tierra of Argentina fused with respect for European culture. The Merlot and Malbec grapes that were brought here from France in the 19th century grew into a variety that brings out the distinctive characteristics of Mendoza. A new world has unfolded for this wine, thanks to the surprising genius of Michel Rolland.

Japanese Sake
  • Sekai no Tsubasa

    "Bijofu" can be translated as "worthy man of beauty" or "handsome man of great physical and mental strength." This sake is carefully produced by hand from Yamada Nishiki rice of the very highest grade. Gliding onto the palate with easy smoothness, the refreshing citrus-like crispness of this Junmai-Daiginjo sake blooms briefly in a delicate and perfectly balanced sweetness. Produced by the brewer especially for JAL, the "Sekai-no-hane" (wings of the world) name represents its wishes for the reborn JAL as it takes flight anew.

  • Jyuyondai

    This brand name originates from the brewery's current 14th generation president. Credited with successfully redirecting the trend in Japanese sake away from light, dry tastes to mellow, well-rounded tastes, this brewery is extremely popular, which is quite an achievement considering its location in Yamagata Prefecture, home to scores of brand-name breweries. Brewed from Yamada Nishiki rice grown in the Toku-A district's Tojo town, this superb sake is available only onboard JAL flights. Its gentle, mellow taste warms the hearts of true sake lovers.

Japanese Premium Shochu
  • Gokujyo Mori Izo

    Shochu is a distilled vodka-like spirit made from a variety of ingredients and is a very popular Japanese drink. This shochu is based on carefully selected organically grown sweet potatoes and is aged for more than three years in traditional jars. Relish the original gentle scent and smooth taste. A product of Kagoshima Prefecture.

  • Kanehachi

    This shochu comes from the city of Usa in Oita Prefecture in northern Kyushu.Its popularity is the result of the combination of traditional techniques with new approaches initiated by the young 5th generation master distiller. The name 'Shochuya Kanehachi' is derived from the name of the distillery's founder, Yotsuya Kanehachi. As an ingredient for shochu, the very hard to handle 'Hadaka Mugi(wheat)' is used to bring out the distinctive flavor,with the aroma of the grain adding to the complex taste. A product of Oita Prefecture.
