- Some individual or group inclusive tour fares, other special discounted fares such as travel agent fares, and award tickets are not eligible for mileage accumulation.

* For certain discount fares and individual inclusive tour fares ,Class J reservation cannot be made.

: *Regarding eligible international fares that include Japan domestic sectors, the mileage calculation for the domestic segment for all fare types will be calculated as 150% for First Class seats and 110% for Class J seats regardless of the mileage calculation for the international sectors.; *JMB Rules and Conditions also apply.

: There is no First Class award on JAL domestic flights. When traveling with Economy Class award tickets, you may use a First Class seat, if available at the time of departure by paying the First Class surcharge. (Advance reservations are not accepted. Upgrading to First Class by redeeming additional mileage at the airport is not permitted.)
: *When traveling with Economy Class award tickets, you may use a Class J seat, if available at the time of departure by paying the Class J surcharge. (Advance reservations are not accepted. Upgrading to Class J by redeeming additional mileage at the airport is not permitted.); *For Class J award tickets, the additional mileage will not be reinstated even if you should change to a Economy Class seat because no Class J seats are available or if Class J is not available on the flight of your choice.; *Some routes and flights do not offer Class J seating.; *Class J cannot be used for Japan domestic sectors included in International award tickets.; *Restricted travel dates for award tickets may apply.
