Please determine if the patient's health
will permit air travel. Do not hesitate to contact the Priority
Guest Center if you have any questions.
Prepare documents including medical certificates,
medical history, test results, names of medications being taken, treatment method
if condition worsens, and a letter from yourself (the physician) with your contact
information (in English for overseas travel).
Inform the patient when to take any medications
in the case of travel to a different time zone.
In the case of an illness characterized by sudden
onset, inform the patient of what to do in the event of an attack.
Remind the patient to take all regular medications
with him or her onto the plane, and not put them into checked baggage.
Tell the patient the name of a hospital he or she
can visit in case of any health problems at the destination.
Ask the patient to inform the flight attendant,
hotel front desk, or tour conductor immediately if the patient feels unwell.
