Important Notice Regarding Purchasing Online

Credit Card Purchase is a convenient way to make reservations and purchase tickets over the phone or online.

By using Authentication by Security Code or Authentication Service, you can purchase gift tickets with your credit card.
This is convenient as the credit card holder who has sent the gift ticket does not have to travel to the airport to present the credit card used for purchase!

On the day of departure, please pick up your boarding pass at the airport ticket counter or just Touch & Go boarding.

Gift purchases by credit card Ideal way to arrange tickets for families and friends who are miles away! Wonderful gift for parents or that special someone!

The following credit cards are accepted:

JALCARD, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UC, DC, Diners Club, American Express, UFJ, NICOS, Orico, Cedyna, OMC, Central Finance, Saison, Aeon, Tokyu TOP, TS Cubic, Aplus, JACCS and other cards indicated by your travel agent.

The following credit cards are accepted

*The amount of purchase and annual fee of "JALCARD" will be billed from affiliated company.

If you are already a JMB member, please enter your JMB membership number and PIN to book your flight.

  • * For Gift purchases by credit card, please book flights without membership login. If you login to book flights, your name will automatically be printed on your tickets.

After booking your flights, please select the Credit Card Purchase option to enter your credit card number and expiration date.

Authentication by Security Code and Authentication Service by your credit card issuer are available. For details of these added security measures, please click here.

Hold your IC card or two-dimensional barcode over the barcode reader at the security checkpoint and the departure gate.

Hold your two-dimensional barcode over the barcode reader at the security checkpoint and the departure gate.

Please present the credit card used for your purchase to collect your tickets or boarding passes at the ticket counter at the airport on the day of departure.

JAL Online Booking Service (24-hours a day) Japan Airlines Designated travel agencies.
Method of Boarding Please pick up your boarding pass at the airport ticket counter or just Touch & Go boarding.
Receipt collection Please collect your receipt at a ticket counter at the airport.

Change/Cancellation of Rservations For change and cancellation of reservations: JAL Domestic Reservations
For cancellation only: JAL Online Booking Service* (24-hours a day)
(* Services are NOT available between the hours of 0:30 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. daily due to system maintenance.)
Ticket Refund Refunds will be returned to the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
All refunds must be requested during the effective refundable period.
Payment Hours 24-hours a day (* Services are NOT available between the hours of 0:10 a.m. - 0:50 a.m. on the following Monday of every second and fourth Saturday of the month due to system maintenance.)
Ticket expiration Tickets are valid until the date and time of departure. (If your ticket specifies a purchase deadline, the ticket must be purchased by the stated deadline, otherwise your reservation is subject to cancellation.)

  • Depending on the number of passengers, fare, Itinerary, or time of day, some reservations may NOT be accepted.
  • Please be advised that tickets CANNOT be collected at the airport on the day of departure if the credit card used to purchase the tickets is not presented. In such a case, it will be necessary for the passenger to purchase a new ticket at the airport.
