Reservation Cancellation
Cancellation should be made by JAL Domestic Reservations or online via JAL Domestic website.
If the original booking was made by a travel agency, cancellation should be made by the travel agency where the original booking was made (including package tour bookings).

Refund application procedure
- Refund application must be made during the
Ticket Validity, within 10 days after the expiration date or within 10 days from the booked flight's departure date for non-flexible fares.
Refund application also must be made as well as for delays and cancellations due to adverse weather conditions. - The Passenger Facility Charge will be refunded in the full amount in case of a ticket refund.
- If a passenger is not able to travel due to illness, the ticket is refundable without a cancellation and refund charge, provided that medical documentation by a physician is submitted.

JAL Domestic Reservations for more details. - Some fares cannot be refunded once the journey has commenced or the ticket is partially used.
- To receive a refund, present the ticket or the authentication code (the JMB membership number, reservation number, or credit card number you used to purchase the ticket) within the effective refundable period.

Effective Refundable Period
Application for refund should be made during the period of validity of the ticket or within 10 days after the expiration date.
For non-flexible fares, refund application must be made within 10 days after the departure of a booked flight. For more information,

Number of days required for refund processing

Refund must be issued by a credit card company if the original payment was made by credit card.
Refund processing with credit card companies may take as long as 2 to 3 months, as the transaction deadline and handling procedure vary for each individual credit card company.
There may be cases where the amount of fare will be debited first, then the amount minus the handling charge may be credited afterwards, or cases where only the handling charges will be debited as a result of having both debit and credit transactions in place simultaneously. Please inquire with each individual credit card companies for details. - For passenger who have made the payment by cash, online transfer, or ATM transfer, the payment shall be made within 5 working days* to your appointed bank account.
- * This indicates a normal transfer term. At times such as bank system dysfunction or disorder of large scale flight operation, we are unable to process within this time.
