How to change your booking when flight disruption is expected due to aircraft maintenance or other reasons within the our control

We deeply apologize to all passengers whose travel plans are affected by the flight delay or cancellation.

If you have ever changed your ticket before November 15, 2017 due to flight disruption, or one segment of your Round-Trip Fare/JAL Business KIPPU/JMB Companion Fare tickets has ever been refunded, please contact JAL call center (Domestic Reservation and Information) for the reservation change.

Change to other JAL Group flight

Please contact us by phone or at the airport counter.

  • *If you purchased the ticket through a travel agent, please contact them directly.

Change is permitted ONCE only for fares that do not permit reservation change. (e.g. SAKITOKU, TOKUBIN, etc.)

You may also change to other alternative JAL flight departing within 3 days (including the rebooking date) on JAL website.
Select the "Rebook" button below to proceed to the domestic flight reservation page, specify "One-Way Fare" in "Fare option" and rebook an alternative flight of the same flight sector and class of service as your original ticket. Take note of the Flight Number and the 6-digit Reservation Number displayed on the Booking Completed page (Please do not purchase the ticket). Call us or approach to the airport counter on the departure day for further procedures.

*1 Only applicable to carriers (ANA) which hold Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreements with JAL.

On departure date
We will endorse your ticket to the airline concerned prior to your new departure.
After you collect the ticket, please complete the boarding procedure at the airline's counter.
As necessary procedures are required at both airlines, please arrive at the airline counters as early as possible.

Change to other public transport

If you want to change to other public transport, we will refund the total fare charge of the affected flight sector.
You will need to book or purchase the ticket of other public transport by yourself.

If the fare of your flight ticket is higher

  • if fare of the original flight fare of the public transports...total charges of the flight ticket will be refunded
