Douglas DC-10
Douglas Aircraft Company's three-engine DC-10, introduced to the JAL fleet in
1976, was the last in the famous "DC" range of airliners, originating in the 1930's.
The DC-10 was developed as a medium capacity wide-bodied jet and depending on
the route is equipped with up 300 seats. JAL operates the DC-10 on domestic and
