Boeing 747-400 (Domestic version)
Boeing's high-tech version of the highly successful Jumbo Jet features a two-man
cockpit and the latest developments in aircraft operating systems. Although the
aircraft is designed for long-range flights, JAL has introduced a number on domestic
routes to replace older models and to benefit from its lower fuel consumption.
Unlike the international version of the 747-400, the domestic version has no winglets.
