| Notes when using International Award Tickets |
| General rules and conditions |

JMB member must apply for the awards in person. |

Regardless of who uses the award, application for the award should be made by the member himself/herself. |
| ◇ |
Request for awards will only be accepted in the region where the JMB member resides. |
| ◇ |
For children and infants under 5 years of age, reservation of an accompanying adult is required. |
| ◇ |
Award travel is not permitted on the Restricted Travel Dates. At other times the number of seats available for award travel may be restricted. (Seats for award use may not be available in certain flights or routes.)

The total mileage required for redeeming awards will be deducted from the JMB account of the applying member. |
| ◇ |
Even if the award ticket will be used for one way travel, the round trip mileage of the flight sector and class reserved will be deducted. |

Mileage can be combined among family members who have registered for the JAL Family Club.

Note on maintaining the required mileage at the time of making reservations:
As it is necessary that there is enough mileage available for award exchange at the time of award application, please confirm that there is enough valid mileage for award exchange. Award reservations will not be accepted if there is not enough mileage in the JMB account. |

Mileage accumulated in other airline companies’ mileage programs (including JMB partner airlines) cannot be combined with JMB mileage in order to receive awards. |

Validity and change of awards |

Award tickets are valid for 1 year from the date the award tickets are issued (the date that mileage is being deducted). |

・ |
It is eligible in changing the flight date and flights to ones within the same sector. When changes are made to the first international sector, member may be requested to pay for the difference between the old and new fuel surcharges, insurance surcharges, and other charges. |
Passengers who need special arrangements |

As the following passengers may need special arrangements, please contact the JMB Center/ JMB Award Reservation Desk of your region after completing the reservation bookings. Seat selection is also handled by the aforementioned JMB Center/ JMB Award Reservation Desk of your region. |

Passengers in pregnancy who suit the following conditions.
・when the expected delivery date is in 4 weeks’ time or less
・when multiple births may be expected
・when the expected delivery date is not certain
・when there is previous experience of premature births |

Children who are 5 or older and under 12 without accompany of adults. (For children under 5 years of age, reservation of an accompanying adult is required.) |

Deadline for award reservation through the JAL website is 7 days (counting from one day before the departure date)prior to your day of departure.( Pacific time for American region; U.K. time for Europe・Middle East・Africa region; Hong Kong time for Asia・Oceania region) |

Reservations |

Award tickets requested through the JAL website are issued in Japan. Therefore, fuel surcharges, taxes, and any other charges are calculated based on Japan time. Also, fares displayed in Japanese Yen will be subject to fare rules applicable in Japan. The actual amount billed will be in the currency used for settlement by your credit card company. |

Reservations will be accepted from 10:00a.m. 330 days (counting from one day before the departure date) prior to your day of departure. You may only make reservations for round-trip flights through the JAL website. |
| ◇ |
You can make reservations for up to 9 passengers at one time. However, if the available seats are less than 9, you may only book seats up to that number. |
| ◇ |
When different classes of service are involved in a round-trip journey, combination of one half of each award level may apply. When different classes of service are involved in one-way of the journey, the higher award level will apply. |
| ◇ |
Awards may not be used for Japan Domestic First Class and Class J. |
| ◇ |
At the time of using award tickets, airport taxes and/or fuel surcharges, insurance surcharges and other surcharges must be borne by the JMB member or users of awards. |

Payment must be made by credit card of the JMB member himself/herself or that of the award user. |
|
・ |
Please note that when the settlement of payment cannot be made with the designated credit card, we may contact you at a later date for the correct information. |

For reservation that involves solely of JMB member under 18, please enter the card number of the guardian.
(For children and infants under 5 years of age, reservation of an accompanying adult is required.) |

Waitlist |
| ◇ |
You may make waitlisted reservation to only one itinerary through this service. |
| ◇ |
Mileage of waitlisted reservations may be deducted at the time when seats are being taken. However, mileage that expires at the time of mileage deduction may not be used. |

Waitlisted flight which is not confirmed before the [Waitlist deadline] will be cancelled. |
| ◇ |
At the time the waitlisted flight is confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address. |
| ◇ |
When the waitlisted flight is confirmed and the itinerary is completed, the ticketing deadline will be advised. If the ticketing transaction is not completed before the ticketing deadline, the reservation will be cancelled. |

Ticketing transaction is possible only by the member applying for the Award ticket. |

Itineraries |
| ◇ |
You cannot make one-way reservations. |
| ◇ |
For each award, a maximum of 3 flight sectors will be allowed each way for the itinerary between Japan and points in overseas countries that are of the same area. |
| ◇ |
Only one Japan domestic sector is allowed per one-way of the journey. |
| ◇ |
Award itinerary, which includes original departure place or country as a transfer point to a different destination, is not permitted. |
| ◇ |
This service shows itineraries with direct flights where there are seats available, or itineraries that offer the most convenient connection flights between the originating city and destination. If you choose itineraries with flights other than those shown on the JAL website, please contact JMB Center/ JMB Award Reservation Desk of your region. |
| ◇ |
Please take note of the following points concerning stopovers (a stay of more than 24 hours) in Japan.
・For journeys originating in Japan, stopovers in Japanese cities en route are not permitted.
・When Japan is the destination of a journey originating outside of Japan, 1 stopover in Japan is permitted in addition to the final destination city in Japan.
・For journeys originating outside Japan, but going to another country beyond Japan, 1 stopover in Japan is permitted per each way of the journey.

Due to U.S. regulation, itineraries between "U.S. mainland/Hawaii" and Guam (and vice versa) on non-U.S. carriers including JAL Group flights are not permitted. |

Changes to award reservations |

Deadline for reservation change |

・ |
Deadline for reservation change for ticketed Awards is 5 days prior to the commencement of journey. Deadline for reservation change for Award tickets which is not yet issued is 7 days prior to the commencement of journey. |

Reservation change for the flight and flight date within the same sector is possible. Itineraries that involve connections of flights or stopovers en route are unavailable under this service. Please contact JMB Center/ JMB Award Reservation Desk of your region. |
| ◇ |
Change to the traveler's name, the flight sector, the class of service, the routing, reversing the direction of travel and exchange of awards are not permitted. |
| ◇ |
It is possible for the change of flights and flight dates under this service if all the passengers take the same flights on the same day. If you make changes to the first international sector, you may be requested to pay for the difference between the previous and new fuel surcharges, insurance surcharges, and other charges. (These surcharges and taxes are calculated based on Japan time.) |

Changes to flight dates and flights are only applicable to E-tickets before the commencement of journey. Changes to routes ineligible for E-ticketing will not be accepted. If special services have been made at the time of booking, reservation change may not be applicable under this service. |

Waitlisted flights can be changed to other waitlisted flights. Confirmed flights can be changed to other confirmed flights. |

Award reservation cancellation/ refund |
| ◇ |
The deadline of reservation cancellation/ refund is 23:59 ( Pacific time for American region; U.K. time for Europe・Middle East・Africa region; Hong Kong time for Asia・Oceania region) one day before the start of the journey. |
| ◇ |
The handling fee is \3,000 (equivalent amount and tax included) or 3,000 miles per award. |
| ◇ |
Only the JMB member, who has applied for award ticket eligible for reservation cancellation/ refund, may apply for this service. |
| ◇ |
Reservation cancellation/ refund applies to all passengers within the same itinerary through this service. It is ineligible to make partial reservation cancellation/ refund. |
| ◇ |
JMB Partner Airlines Award Tickets/ JAL+JMB Partner Joint Award Tickets/ oneworld Award Tickets/ JAL Group International Upgrade Award Tickets/ Revenue Tickets are exempted from this service. |
| ◇ |
Reservation cancellation/ refund is only applicable to award e-tickets before the start of journey. |
| ◇ |
Reservation cancellation/ refund may become ineligible through the JAL webpage for reservations where difference in amount has been collected, even just for once. |
| ◇ |
Mileage that expires at the time of reservation cancellation/ refund may not be reinstated. |
| ◇ |
Refunded amount may be returned to the credit card through which previous payment of taxes, fuel surcharges and other charges has been made. (It may take a few months' time for the process.) Furthermore, there may not be refunds for payments made by JAL IC COUPONs. |

Reflection of mileage deduction |

It may take 2 to 3 days for the mileage balance to be reflected in the system upon application for award redemption under this service. |

Others |
| ◇ |
Information provided by JAL website, the latest JMB handbook or announced via the latest communication medium will take precedence over previous contents in terms of conditions of use for the awards. |

Conditions for the use of awards are subject to change without prior notice. |
| ◇ |
When flying on the international flights, Conditions of International Carriage will apply. |
| ◇ |
Please check the validity of your passport and requirement of visa. If visa is required, please obtain visa by yourself. |
