Changes in JMB FLY ON Program Status Achievement Standards

♦ Start of application of new standards
From boarded flights on and after January 1, 2012.
(These new standards will apply to the FLY ON Program introductory service for FY2012 and FLY ON Program status achievement for FY 2013.)

♦ New FLY ON Status Achievement Standards
Members should fulfill either of the following sets of criteria [A] or [B], to be eligible for the respective JMB FLY ON Status.

JMB FLY ON Status	[A] FLY ON Point	or	[B] Number of boarded flights
JMB DIAMOND	At least 100,000 FLY ON Points (including 50,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights)		At least 120 flights (including 60 JAL Group flights) and 35,000 FLY ON Points
JGC PREMIER	JGC members who have achieved at least 80,000 FLY ON Points (including 40,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights)		JGC members who have boarded at least 80 flights (including 40 JAL Group flights) and have achieved 25,000 FLY ON Points
JMB SAPPHIRE	At least 50,000 FLY ON Points (including 25,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights)		At least 50 flights (including 25 JAL Group flights) and 15,000 FLY ON Points
JMB CRYSTAL	At least 30,000 FLY ON Points (including 15,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights)		At least 30 flights (including 15 JAL Group flights) and 10,000 FLY ON Points

* In connection with the above changes, current rule stating "JMB members must take at least 4 flights on JAL Group Airlines with fares eligible for JMB mileage accumulation during the applicable year" will be discontinued on January1, 2012. Other rules and conditions remain unchanged.

♦ FLY ON Status Achievement Standards (Until December 31, 2011)
Members should fulfill either of the following sets of criteria [A] or [B], to be eligible for the respective JMB FLY ON Status.

JMB FLY ON Status	[A] FLY ON Point	or	[B] Number of boarded flights
JMB DIAMOND	At least 100,000 FLY ON Points		At least 120 flights and 35,000 FLY ON Points
JGC PREMIER	JGC members who have achieved at least 80,000 FLY ON Points		JGC members who have boarded at least 80 flights and have achieved 25,000 FLY ON Points
JMB SAPPHIRE	At least 50,000 FLY ON Points		At least 50 flights and 15,000 FLY ON Points
JMB CRYSTAL	At least 30,000 FLY ON Points		At least 30 flights and 10,000 FLY ON Points

* You must take at least 4 JAL Group Airlines flights with fares eligible for JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) mileage accumulation during the applicable year.

Discontinuation of Upgrade Points (UGP)

We will discontinue offering UGP to eligible FLY ON members for FY2013 after we offer UGP to qualified JMB FLY ON Program members for FY2012. Going forward, we plan to improve our in-flight service, especially seat specifications and contents of services in higher classes such as First Classes and Business Classes. We consider it necessary to review the Mileage Program from the long-term point of view so that mileage award may be exchanged, maintaining the satisfactory quality in order to offer high quality cabin space and upgraded seats to members. We appreciate you having used UGP up to now and appreciate your kind understanding.

* UGP service will be discontinued for members qualified for FY2013 after offering UGP to JMB FLY ON status members for FY2012 (accumulation period of FLY ON Points: from January 1 to December 31, 2011).
* FY2012 JMB FLY ON Program UGP is valid until March 31, 2013.
