First class is ineligible. Combination of first class with classes eligible is ineligible for discount as well.
There are situations where there are limitations to the number of seats available for award use. There are also situations where seats for award use may not apply to certain flights.
Standard mileage and various campaign mileage cannot be combined.
Note/ Conditions of use
- ※Waitlisted reservations are ineligible for this discount mileage. Please be noted that the ticket has to be refunded first, and the usual mileage will be applied to reservations where there are waitlisted sectors either at the time of reservation made through the website, or at the time when changes are made to the reservations where mileage has already been deducted.
- ※It is eligible for the change of reserved flights to the ones within the same discount period through the JAL homepage provided there are available seats. Apart from this, reservation change may not be made if the one-year ticket validity (calculated from the day where reservation and related procedures have been completed) has been exceeded.
(It is ineligible to change whichever of the above reservations to ones with itineraries that fall into the restricted travel period.)
- ※It is ineligible to change the reservation to an open one. The award may become invalid if you do not take the reserved flight and fail to contact us before flight departure. Please change the flights to those with available seats before flight departure.
- ※You may cancel your reserved flights or apply refund to your tickets before the departure of your flights. The refund charge is 3000 miles or 3000 Japanese yen. (If you have not applied for flight cancellation before your departure, you may not be able to receive refund for your award tickets.)
- ※Reservations applied through the telephone are ineligible. Moreover, it is ineligible to change the award reserved through the JMB Center/ JMB Award Reservation Desk by telephone to the one that is valid to be used for this discount.
- ※As there are limitations in the "Number of Seats available for Award Travel", there are situations where you may not be able to use the awards during this discount period. Furthermore, there are occasions that this discount does not apply to certain flights.
- ※Certain sectors/ routes of the “Eligible Routes” listed above are subject to change and may not operate on specified days or during certain seasons.
- ※This discount mileage does not apply to oneworld Award Tickets, JMB Partner Airlines Award Tickets, and JAL International Upgrade Award Tickets.
- ※There are various conditions of use for online application. Please carefully refer to all other conditions that have not been mentioned above. Reservations that do not satisfy the conditions are ineligible for this discount.
